Donate to Cancer Research and Get Free Miles from American Airlines

We aren’t going to lie; we love a charitable contribution. That’s why we are so happy to announce that American Airlines wants you to donate money toward cancer research, and that they will give you some points and rewards if you do just that. Cancer is ugly and it’s gross and it affects so many of us. My grandfather was in his late 70s when he died of cancer back in the late 80s. My best friend’s mother has been diagnosed with breast cancer twice in the past 8 years, and she has worked so hard to overcome that in the course of that time. Her spirit is unbreakable and her strength is remarkable, and she is the kind of woman who makes you feel that everything will eventually be just fine. However, that does not change the fact that cancer sucks and that is just a fact of life.

If you work really hard in April, you can get a few more miles in your American Airlines bank. Right now, you can donate money toward Stand Up to Cancer and earn 25 miles for every single dollar you spend. If you make your donations after April 15, though, you will still get points but they will only equate to 10 points for every dollar spent. If you haven’t donated to charity yet this year, or if you want to get a few more miles, consider doing something that is really worthwhile. It’s a great cause and we know that you will appreciate everything that you are able to do for this. We know that you probably know someone with cancer or will at some point, so taking down this disease is a priority for all of us. Let’s do this together and earn a few points and miles in the process.
