Lose Inches With Your Own DIY Body Wrap for Less than $1

Lotion

Chances are good that if you’re involved in social media, at least one person you follow or have as an online friend sells or uses those body wraps that claim to give you several inches of weight loss and inch-loss in less than 45 minutes. It sounds great, and it definitely makes you feel good about yourself regardless whether or not the weight is water weight or real weight. But no one wants to pay $25 per wrap for a day or two of feeling good and looking thinner.

What if we told you that you could make your own DIY body wrap at home, lose up to an inch a night and fell really good about yourself? It’s not permanent weight loss, and it’s not the way you get to skip the whole diet and exercise thing, but it is a great way for you to feel good just before a big event or on a bloated, premenstrual day that has you feeling pretty down.

What You Need

This is the best part; you need nothing you don’t already have at home. All you need is lotion, saran wrap and an ace bandage. If you don’t have those at home, or all of those at home, you can pick them up anywhere and for less than $5. Additionally, you can make a lot of these with just a few ingredients, which makes them less than a dollar a piece. Take that crazy wraps!

What to Do

Pick a body part you want to shrink. Most people choose their stomach, and that’s fine. Now cover it in lotion; and be very liberal with the lotion. You want to get as much on your skin as you possibly can to help open up those pores. Once the lotion is on, wrap plastic wrap around that area. It shouldn’t be so tight you can’t breathe. It should be snug, but you do have to sleep in it, so it should be bearable. Now wrap the ace bandage around it for good measure.

The Results

Wake up in the morning and take off your wrap. You should notice about an inch difference wherever you applied it. This should last a day or two. There is no limit to how often you can do this, but it’s not a substitute for diet and exercise.
