Batiste Dry Shampoo

Some things are not worth wasting time or money making on your own. Other things are totally worth making at home and saving either money or a trip to the store with kids after forgetting to pick something up while you’re there. DIY dry shampoo is certainly one of those things you can save a lot of money on – and a lot of trips to the store. We love dry shampoo because it’s what makes our hair just that much better. When we have no time to do the simple things, like wash our hair on days when we’re in a hurry, we need dry shampoo. It makes life easier and much more enjoyable. And it makes our hair healthier and more beautiful, and it’s good for us. For that reason, we have a great and very simple DIY dry shampoo recipe that’s going to make your life just a little bit better.

What You Need

1 cup warm water

¼ cup cornstarch

¼ vodka (for your hair, not your mouth)

Your favorite essential oil

This is going to be so easy that we can’t even find the right words. Get a spray bottle. Pour all your ingredients into it along with a drop or two of your favorite essential oils so that you can make things smell delish, and then go ahead and shake it all up. You are finished.

On a side note, you don’t have to use vodka. If you feel this is a waste of perfectly good alcohol, go ahead and switch it out for something like rubbing alcohol or even witch hazel. Both work just as effectively, but we don’t know what you have on hand in your house, so we offer you some items alternatives to make this recipe as simple and effortless as possible.
