The big issue with boneless ands kinless breasts is that they are sometimes difficult for people to cook. It can be intimidating to make something that’s thin and not quite fat. It cooks quickly and it can quickly become too dry and flavorless unless you are very clever making sure this does not happen. Take our advice and you will end up with amazing chicken every time.

Put Ingredients In the Chicken

Most of us throw our favorite vegetables and accessories on top of our chicken recipes, and we never even consider how simple it is to actually stuff the chicken with these things. When you stuff your chicken, you actually make it much easier to deal with than you might think. Not only is the flavor amazing, it’s actually a bit better simply because you get to keep your chicken a bit moister and more delicious. When the ingredients you want to cook with your chicken are inside the chicken, you actually have a better chance of having moist chicken that’s much more flavorful and much more enjoyable. The chicken actually cooks a bit slower so it loses less of its juiciness.

Pound Your Chicken

If you are not already cooking thinner slices of poultry, you will want to make sure you pound the chicken so that it’s even all the way across. This is going to help your cooking in that it will be more even and less likely to overcook along the sides and remain juicy and tender only in the middle. This is a great way to get chicken that’s tender, moist and evenly cooked. And it also helps you minimize your cooking time, too, so that weeknight dinners are more enjoyable. No one likes to wait around for hours for dinner to cook when they get home from work. Between getting things ready for the next day, helping kids with homework and trying to spend some quality time with the family, you don’t need to spend the entire evening in the kitchen working on a meal. Faster is always better.

Spice it Up

Don’t be afraid to use spices when you’re making your favorite chicken recipes. Some people are just a bit of salt and pepper and that’s it kind of cooks. Others are not afraid of a little spice and that’s what makes chicken so good. You can use a lot of different spices to make your chicken taste amazing, and you can mix and match and do what you want to make things taste as you wish. Our favorite is to drizzle chicken with a little olive oil, add salt and pepper, add garlic and wine seasoning, cut some cherry tomatoes in half and toss some fresh basil on top and bake everything until it’s just right and then mix it up and enjoy it immensely. The more seasoning you add to your chicken, the more flavorful it will become.

Watch the Time

You should not let your chicken cook too long. You can dry it out very quickly and ruin an otherwise enjoyable meal. When you cook boneless and skinless breasts, you have to adjust the clock accordingly. If you’re using the thin slices, you will want to keep your chicken in the oven no more than 30 minutes (please make sure it’s cooked all the way through) and you will want to ensure that your meal is not overcooked. Check periodically on the center of the chicken with a small cut to ensure it’s not cooking too much to keep the meat juicy and delicious. Just remember to adjust times for the thickness and the type of chicken you are making.

Rub Chicken to Grill It

One of the biggest problems cooks have is drying out their chicken breasts on the grill. The boneless skinless type is notorious for this, and that makes it difficult for you to really enjoy the wonderful flavor that your grill provides if you’re too worried that the flavor of your chicken will suffer. Fortunately, you can actually cook your chicken on the grill without this worry with a bit of advice. For one, you should rub your chicken a few hours before you toss it on the grill. You can use a dry rub or a wet one, it does not actually matter. All that matters is that you use one at all since you need to keep the exterior of the chicken protected from the heat. This helps keep the moisture in place so that your meat is tender and moist.

Cook it Under a Brick

If you’ve never done this, you should absolutely try it. There is a simple solution to all your grilling issues when it comes to keeping your chicken very tender. When you take the time to cook it under a brick, you lessen the amount of moisture that escapes the chicken from the very dry heat the grill emits and keeps everything flavorful and delicious. We love the concept of doing this, because it’s a very professional-type feeling.
