Breakfast quiche is something some people understand and other people have never even tried. Growing up in the south (okay, Florida, but still) we understand the amazing flavors and simple pleasure of tossing a bunch of breakfast foods into a dish and baking it until it’s an all-in-one deal, but not everyone is privy to this amazing realization. I will say that most of us usually only make dishes of this nature when hosting brunches, or the evening before a holiday so that we can toss our breakfast in the oven first thing in the morning and enjoy it as a family once we open Christmas gifts and enjoy our coffee. It’s a really simple pleasure, and there is no real set of rules that apply to breakfast quiche recipes. In fact, you just have to have a basic idea of what one is and then you can make it how you see fit and enjoy every second of what you’re eating. We have five breakfast quiche recipes for you right here, and we can promise you that you will enjoy them tremendously as they are here and then even more when you modify them as you see fit as you get more comfortable making each one.

Bacon and Cheddar Breakfast Quiche

This is a great and very simple recipe that does not require ample time or effort. You’ll need 6 eggs, 1 ½ cups of milk, a pie crust from the store, a pound of cooked and chopped bacon, 1 cup of cheddar cheese shredded and salt and pepper to taste. What you will do to create this amazing recipe is preheat your oven to 375 degrees. You’ll cook and cut your bacon and while that’s working you can whisk your liquid ingredients in a large bowl. Your pie crust will go into a pie plate. When all this is prepared you will add half your cheese and half your bacon to your egg and milk mixture and stir everything together well. Then you will pour this mixture into your pie crust and bake the mixture 20 minutes. When that’s done you will take it out of oven, add the rest of the cheese and bacon to the top and bake the mixture for another 20 minutes and then let it cool a bit until it’s warm but not hot – perfect for dining.

Crustless Quiche

If you are looking for something a little bit healthier, we have a fabulous option for a crustless quiche. It’s going to feature all your favorites, but without the addition of unhealthy pie crust. You need less than 10 minutes to prep this recipe and only 50 to cook the quiche, and it’s ready to go before you’re even done getting the family ready for church on a Sunday morning. What you need includes the following:

1 cup cottage cheese

2 cups egg whites

½ cup broccoli – cooked and chopped into small pieces

½ cup ham – diced

½ cup cheddar cheese

Salt and pepper to taste

Start by preheating your oven to 375 degrees. Mix all your ingredients in a large bowl. Leave that to sit while you grease a baking dish – a pie dish is the best option for this particular recipe. Go ahead and toss in the ingredients you’ve mixed together and pop this crustless quiche into the oven. You’ll cook the mixture for about 45 minutes, let it cool and then serve it to your family.

Mini Quiche

Sometimes you want to make a quick breakfast that you can prep ahead of time and not have to do any extra work to make. This mean you want to make something that’s already the perfect size, and we love this recipe because it involves cooking everything in a muffin pan. It’s already bite-sized and ready to enjoy, which just makes your life that much simpler and more relaxed. You will need the following:

6 eggs

½ cup milk

1 cup cheese – your choice

2 cups of your favorite chopped veggies and add ins

Start by preheating your oven to 350 degrees and spraying a muffin tin with cooking spray. You’ll then use a large bowl to mix all your ingredients. What we love about this recipe is that you can really personalize every aspect of it. Use cheddar cheese if you want, or feta – we don’t care and it doesn’t really matter. We like to mix in red and green bell peppers, chopped onion, broccoli, spinach and even a lean meat such as chicken or turkey sausage. You can add bacon if you want, too. It’s really such a personalized recipe. Once you have it as you like it, just fill your muffin tins and then bake your mixture for 20 minutes. Set your timer for 10 minutes, however, to remind you to turn the pan around when that time frame approaches. Remove the mixture from the oven and allow it to cool, and you will have the dish of your dreams.

Spinach and Mushroom Quiche

Start by preheating your oven to 350 degrees and then go ahead and get your ingredients out as follows;

1 bag spinach

2 cloves minced garlic

1 package of mushrooms, cut small

4 eggs

Salt and pepper to taste

1 cup milk

2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

2 tablespoons feta cheese

1 cup parmesan cheese

To make this delicious quiche, just go ahead and make sure you have a big bowl and then toss all your ingredients right into the bowl. You will mix everything very well and then put it all into a pie dish that’s been sprayed with cooking spray to prevent sticking. You will then pop it into your preheated oven and cook the meal for 45 minutes before you remove it from the oven, let it cool enough to eat and then enjoy it’s healthy delicious flavor.

Cowboy Quiche

If you’re a southerner, you know all about this. If you’re not, you will want to know all about this. It’s Ree Drummond’s (The Pioneer Woman from Food Network) recipe and it’s amazing (and yes, I know she’s Midwestern). What you need includes the following:

A pie crust

8 eggs

Heavy cream (half cup approximately)

2 cups swiss cheese

And the filling of your choice

Ree Drummond likes to provide you with a blank canvas. She might use spinach, mushrooms, onion, bell peppers and anything else she likes, including sausage and bacon. You can do the same. Just add the ingredients as you see fit, adding an egg at a time past 8 if you feel you need a bit more liquid. You really cannot make this recipe incorrectly.

Go ahead and preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Mix everything in large bowl, all your add-ins chopped very small, and then pour it into your pie crust. Bake his amazing recipe for 45 minutes with foil over the edges of the crust. After 45 minutes, take the foil off and bake the quiche for another 15 minutes. Take it out of the oven and then go ahead and enjoy this delicious quiche.
