Five Cheesecake Recipes that Will Be a Hit at any Party

Dessert is something some people swear they never eat. In fact, I know some people who will turn up their noses at the mention of anything unhealthy – dessert – because it’s not healthy. Now, we all like to be healthy and we like to be as fit and fabulous as possible, but I love dessert. A lot of us love dessert. And what we do is we eat it in moderation so that we can enjoy every single ounce of deliciousness that life has to offer. Call me indulgent, but I believe that a healthy lifestyle does make room for some amazing desserts as long as you keep things in moderation. Deprivation is no fun and being unable to eat what you really do love when you are in the mood does not make for a happy life. With that in mind, we have scoured the internet for some of the best cheesecake recipes you’ve ever encountered. We can assure you that these recipes are going to make you quite happy in that they’re decadent, simple and really good. We have five of them for you, from the simple and basic to the over-the-top. There’s something for everyone in our very own little cheesecake heaven, and each recipe is found in these instructional videos that walk you through the entire process from start to finish – it’s a foolproof way to ensure that you’re making things correctly the first time.

Mom’s New York Cheesecake Recipe

A New York style cheesecake is probably the best. It’s not made from faux ingredients that are designed to make things look like a cheesecake. It’s designed to actually be a cheesecake. It’s made from real cheese and real ingredients rather than boxed stuff (which is real, but you know what I mean). This is the hardcore, real life cheesecake recipe that your grandmother made before people like Betty Crocker put all the ingredients in a box for us and told us that we could not-bake a cheesecake just like that. Here’s an amazing recipe that someone’s amazingly sweet mother decided she would teach us all to make – be thankful now.

No-Bake Cherry Cheesecake Recipe

A real cheesecake has to be baked and prepared and some real time has to be spent on it. But when you just don’t have that kind of time or perhaps you just aren’t that talented when it comes to being part of the baking world, a no-bake cheesecake makes for a pretty good ideal. You can make one of these in relatively little time with relatively little effort and it’s still going to be amazing. We love a no-bake cheesecake. Our only change to this recipe would be to forgo the boxed mix that has cherry topping included and choose one that doesn’t have a topping. Fresh cherries will make for a much more decadent topping. We might even throw some cool whip on top for good measure.

Strawberry Cheesecake Recipe

Who doesn’t love strawberries? I can’t see you, obviously, but I can probably safely assume not too many hands went up in the air. There is something so deliciously summery about strawberries. There is just something so good and so amazing that you can’t deny the fact that you want a strawberry cheesecake every now and again. We love them, and we love that you can make them so many ways. We like this recipe when it’s made in a smaller batch. You can make it as it is presented in the video, which is amazing. Or you can break it down and put the ingredients into cupcake holders in your cupcake pan and make it this way. I don’t know what it is about this type of strawberry cheesecake that just seems a little bit more summery than the large one made as it is, but it’s just so decadent to have little individual cheesecakes to serve your friends and family when they’re over for dinner and dessert.

Oreo Cheesecake

If you had to pick two things you love in life, how close would cheesecake and Oreo cookies be to the top of that list? For me, they’d both be pretty close to the top. The problem, however, is that they both make me feel a little guilty since I really just cannot stop at one or two bites – I have to have most all of what is presented. So what I like to do to make myself feel a little less guilty about eating all this decadent goodness is put it in one place; that’s right. I like to make an Oreo cookie cheesecake that is essentially two desserts but all made together. It’s so much less healthy than just eating one or the other, but when you put them together and eat them as one dessert, you do feel a little bit less like you’re being unhealthy. We call it trickery and fun. We do so much enjoy this. This video is going to show you how to make your very own Oreo cookie cheesecake so that you can pretend to be healthier, too.

Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Cheesecake

We love to say that we saved the best for last, because it’s not an understatement in this situation. My husband and I are huge fans of lunch at Cheesecake Factory for the simple fact that we can not only sit outside and enjoy lovely views and then head inside our favorite malls for a day of shopping, but also because of the cheesecake we get for dessert. I mean, we eat there for the cheesecake; we are just healthy enough to enjoy a cocktail and a salad beforehand (sounds healthy, right?). This is our favorite indulgence in terms of cheesecake. Because let’s face the fact that cookie dough is so good. Deny it, I dare you. Mix that up with some cheesecake and call it the way to my heart. That’s why you should really take advantage of this recipe and make one of your own at home. I’m going to!
