How to Make a Devilish 10,000 Calorie Crazy Apple Pie Bomb

apples

With around 3500 calories already in the basic recipe, the caramel apple pie bomb recipe is a huge indulgence. Of course, you’d have to eat the entire plate to consume this many calories, but that’s not all that difficult! They’re so good and so addicting that we are actually a little surprised more people aren’t completely obese and unhealthy thanks to this. In truth, this is a special recipe most people save for the holiday season. It makes a perfect Thanksgiving and Christmas dessert, and that’s when most people make this. That means that it’s a once – maybe twice – a year indulgence, which makes it a lot more acceptable in terms of diet and health. Of course, we like to live on the edge a little. That means that we’re looking for a way to make this recipe even more amazing, even more indulgent and even more out-of-this-world. And to do that, we have to go ahead and add a few more calories to the plate. And by a few, we mean that you’re going to have a 10,000 calorie dish by the time we are finished with you.

No, it’s not even remotely healthy. And no, we don’t recommend you have this on a regular basis. But we do think that it’s going to make for a fun once-in-a-lifetime splurge for you, your friends and your family. So go ahead and add a few thousand extra miles to your morning jog so that you can take advantage of a bite or two of this amazing apple pie recipe.

What You Need

2 packages frozen white dinner rolls – 2640 calories

4 apples – 320 calories

2 tbsp ground cinnamon – 160 calories

4 tbsp sugar – 180 calories

4 tbsp butter – 400 calories

4 tbsp heavy cream – 208 calories

60 vanilla caramels – 3200 calories

4 cups Chocolate ice cream – 800 calories

4 cups vanilla ice cream – 1040 calories

4 cups whipped cream – 240 calories

3 Cups chocolate sauce – 900 calories

Total Calories – 10,088 calories

You will start this recipe by preheating your oven to 350 degrees. The first step is to place your dinner rolls together on a plate that can go into the microwave – you’ll likely need to do this twice since you are using so many rolls to make this recipe amazing. The purpose of this is to defrost the rolls approximately 2 minutes at a time until they are not frozen but also not cooked. You want them soft and doughy, but not frozen or cooked.

What you will do now is butter a large casserole dish – which is going to add a few more calories to this already insanely calorie filled dish – and set it aside while you prepare the rest of your dish for baking.

The next step is to peel and core your apples. You’ll want to dice them so that they are in bite-size pieces small enough to cook through relatively quickly. Your next step is to toss them into a bowl and then add your sugar and cinnamon to the mixture, mixing everything together. This is very similar to the way that you would make apple pie during the holidays.

The next step is to take the time to unwrap all your caramel candies. Once unwrapped you will want to cut each candy into four small pieces to make sure that the recipe is created perfectly. And then you will place them in a bowl off to the side while you bust out a little flour and cover your countertop. It’s messy, yes, but it’s necessary and completely worth this recipe.

This is where things get a big confusing. You’re going to take one roll at a time and toss it onto your flour while flattening and stretching the dough using the same concept you might use to create pizza dough. You want each piece to be around 3 inches across. You’ll do this with all of your dough. Once you finish with this you will add a tablespoon of your apple mixture and 5-6 of your caramels to each piece of bread and then close it with your fingertips by securing the dough. You want to create what looks like a little ball (ball of deliciousness!).

Using all your bread, make enough balls to place into your dish. You can put them on top of one another and squeeze them together as you see fit. This is, after all, a messy and delicious dish. You will then rub melted butter all over the pieces of bread. Use whatever apple mixture you have left by dumping it all over the top of this amazing dish. Then you will bake it for 35 minutes.

You will have some extra caramels. You will want to pour them, along with the cream, into a bowl and microwave the mixture until it’s completely melted. Mix it together well and set it aside. When your bread is done, take it out of the oven and let it cool completely. Next, transfer it to a large serving bowl and add your ice cream, chocolate syrup, whipped cream and your caramel candy mixture to the top.

We also love adding some sprinkles, maybe a gooey brownie to the bottom of your serving dish and even some crumbled Oreos to the top. It’ll be so much more than 10,000 calories when you’re finished, but so worth the additional lack of health. Now eat it and enjoy!

And just to wrap this up, we thought we’d tell you how much exercise you’ll need to burn off 10,000 calories.

Cycle for 1000 minutes at 15 mph

Jog for 1,666 minutes

Walk at 4 mph for 2000 minutes

A lot of exercise goes into burning off the kind of calories that you would consume with this dish, which is why we do not recommend it as a whole. However, everyone at the table is going to want at least 2 or 3 of these small, almost bite-size pieces of deliciousness, so you’re probably going to want to sign up for a marathon when you’re done eating. If you can move, that is.
