Stuffed Pepper Soup May Just Be Your Family’s Favorite Fall Meal

Stuffed Pepper Soup is a delicious meal to enjoy on a cool fall day.  It is warm and comforting but hearty enough to stick to you so you aren’t raiding the kitchen for a midnight snack.

To fix Stuffed Pepper Soup, you need to first gather your ingredients.  You will need one pound of ground chuck, one pound of ground turkey, four cups of beef broth, four cups of vegetable broth, two diced green peppers, two diced red peppers, one cup of regular style white rice, one 29 oz. can of tomato sauce, one teaspoon each of pepper, garlic powder and onion powder, one and a half teaspoons of salt and one eighth cup of sugar.

To prepare Stuffed Pepper Soup, brown your ground chuck and ground turkey and drain the fat off of it.  Combine all ingredients in a crock pot.  Cook on high for three to four hours.  It will be ready to enjoy when the peppers are cooked through and the texture of the rice is accurate.  This recipe is wonderful to fix on days that you are busy and don’t have time to stand over a stove to cook a meal.  You can start it and walk away to do other things.

Stuffed Pepper Soup is flavorful and a recipe that you will probably cook time and time again for your family.  I rarely ever have leftovers for my family of four.  Whatever is left doesn’t make it past the first day in our house because everyone keeps going back for seconds later in the day.  This recipe also makes your house smell wonderful and is sure to have everyone asking what is for dinner when they walk in the door.  I serve Stuffed Pepper Soup with tortilla chips or baked dinner rolls.
