Three New Orleans Restaurants You Have to Dine In

N'awlins

Traveling is something we all enjoy and we all get a kick out of, but one of the things we tend to stress over when we do travel is where to dine. There are always so many options, yet there are so many considerations to make when it comes to those options. No matter which cities I visit, I contemplate where I most want to dine, and it’s always a bit of a challenge considering I only have so much time and the ability to eat only so much without feeling sick. New Orleans is one of those places, and I just can’t tell you where you want to go when you are there. But what I can do is give you a few suggestions when it comes to choosing New Orleans restaurants you will be glad you didn’t miss. They’re all fairly casual and laid-back, and they all have something that you cannot miss when you are in town.

Café Du Monde

If you go anywhere in the Big Easy, make it Café Du Monde. You cannot, absolutely cannot, go to New Orleans without making a stop here for the beignets. They are the best in the city, and you will regret not stopping here for the rest of your life. Yes, it’s touristy and it’s an attraction, but this all for a very good reason.

Commander’s Palace

If you are looking for good, decadent and classic New Orleans cuisine, this is the place to go. It’s a gorgeous building, for one – and the menu is perfection. You will not find more authentic, delicious fare anywhere in the city if you spend the rest of your life trying.

Lola’s

If you’re looking for some of the best Spanish cuisine around, this is the place to go. It’s delicious, adorable and absolutely amazing. There is nothing about this place you will not fall madly in love with from the second you walk through the door.
