How To Feel Less Tired Everyday

We can’t all wake up every morning feeling perky and ready to start the day with a smile. In fact, most of us don’t. We’re too tired to fake a smile and act like we care that the day has started. In an effort to try not to fall asleep all day long, we all try to figure out ways to get more sleep. We promise to start going to bed earlier. We swear we won’t drink as much caffeine and that we’ll start exercising. While these things do help ease fatigue, we can make ourselves feel less tired much more easily than that.

Go To Bed at the Same Time

When we go to bed at the same time every night, we actually learn to fall asleep faster. Instead of trying to go to bed earlier on nights when we are tired, we should just create a routine. You could watch shows on tv beds before sleeping. If we force ourselves to go to bed too early, we lay there awake and trying to fall asleep. This leads our bodies to associate bed with being awake and it makes it even more difficult for us to fall asleep from that point on.

Drink Earlier

Most of us like to unwind after a long day with a glass of wine. The mistake we make is having it after dinner and after the kids go to bed. This makes us less tired than it does if we drink our wine with dinner and stop from that point on during the night. Drinking too close to bedtime leaves your body prone to waking up more frequently during the night.

Nap On Time

If you are that tired and need a nap, there is a best time to take one. The hours between 1 pm and 3 pm are best for naps because they are late enough in the day for you to actually feel tired, but early enough that you will be tired again in time for bed.
