“Clap along if you feel like that’s what you wanna do.” Everybody get happy: it’s officially International Day of Happiness! Yes, it’s a real day, thanks in part to Pharrell Williams. The Grammy-winning musician and entrepreneur, whose infectious hit “Happy” is omnipresent these days, teamed up with the United Nations for a global campaign to make March 20th officially the International Day of Happiness, created for the purpose of “celebrating the happiness and well-being of individuals and communities everywhere.”

Pharrell previously encouraged people all around the world to share videos of themselves dancing around to his happy-go-lucky radio hit, “Happy.” He sorted through all of the worldwide submissions, which were submitted with the hashtag #HAPPYDAY, and is sharing his picks on his website, 24 Hours of Happiness. Every hour in each time zone, he is highlighting the best submissions he picked until the day is done. From Hong Kong, Sydney, Paris and beyond, people all over the world are letting loose, getting into the groove and, most importantly, getting happy!

Didn’t know about the campaign or didn’t have enough time to submit your own video? Fear not! Check out the videos Pharrell picked and dance along with them… or make your own right now. While it may not qualify for the site, there’s no saying you can’t post it onto YouTube or Instagram on your own! Celebrate today by spreading happiness through your own means. Pharrell and the U.N. would insist on it.

How are you celebrating the official day of happiness?
