Super Foods to Help You Look and Feel Better

Spinach

You’ve heard of super foods. Super foods are those foods that help you feel better, look better and live healthier. They’re, well, super foods. When you incorporate these healthy items into your diet, you’re making a lifestyle choice. It’s a choice to look and feel good on a regular basis (and this is always a much better choice than a third martini). If you’re interested in looking and feeling better – and you’re crazy if you’re not – you might want to include these super foods into your diet.

Legumes

In case you don’t know what legumes are (and we all had to look it up to be sure at some point or another so don’t let us confuse you), they’re beans. They’re good for you. They’re full of magnesium. Magnesium, in case you didn’t know this (I didn’t), is what provides you with energy. Perhaps you should start making more chili or just offering decadent bean dishes as sides when you cook dinner. It’ll be good for you.

Spinach

This is such a great super food. You can eat it with salads, sauté it with a bit of olive oil and some spices along with halved cherry tomatoes and peppers and toss it over your favorite pasta and call it a meal, or on a sandwich. Spinach is good for you. It has plenty of iron, which is great for delivering oxygen to your cells. It helps you look younger and provides you with more beautiful skin. A win-win if you ask me.

Tomatoes

If you suffer from allergies, you know what it’s like to walk around with puffy eyes, swollen cheeks and a red, inflamed nose. If you eat more tomatoes, however, you can literally breathe easier. Lycopene is the antioxidant found in tomatoes. This helps allergy suffers regulate their breathing and avoid the ugly side effects that go along with it.
