How to Store Linens when you Don’t Have a Linen Closet

Space is always at a premium in your home. No matter how big or small the home, you will find that you are looking for spaces in which to store your linens and your other items. Even in a big house, you will find that you are constantly looking for places to store linens since you will find a million and other things you need to store where you should put your linens. But at the end of the day, you do need space in which you should place your linens so that you can keep them clean and out of the way, easily accessible when you have guests and when it’s time to clean your sheets and your extra bedrooms. But what are you to do if your house lacks appropriate linen closets? We have some suggestions for you that might make the concept a little simpler without actually detracting from your décor and the storage space you use for everything else you own.

Blanket Boxes

If you have some blanket boxes, now is a good time to break them out and get to work with them. You’re going to find that it’s much easier to store your linens here as they are going to provide you additional space.

Under the Bed

You can put them in Rubbermaid storage boxes or anything else that seems practical. But if you can slide it under the bed, you’re going to have a lot more space for storage.

In an Ottoman

We love decorative ottomans that keep your items hidden and your life simple. You can hide your linens inside the kind that open up so that you can keep them easily accessible but still hidden.

Decorative Bins

We love a good decorative bin and all that it has to offer. Decorative bins allow you to make sure your things are stored nicely but also provide a bit of décor inspiration to your home.

In the Closet

Your closet is a great place to store things like linens since you can put them in bags, hang them up or even stack them on a shelf. Why not use this space for things you need to store other than your wardrobe?
