3 Ways to Inspire Confidence In Yourself and Others

The most fabulous accessory any woman can have is, well, it’s a tie between confidence and a smile. Since it’s pretty easy to smile whenever you want, that leaves confidence as the more difficult accessory to carry. No matter what you do in life, you want to have and inspire confidence everywhere you go. There is nothing more attractive about a woman than confidence (not to be confused with arrogance or conceit). Here are three simple ways you can inspire confidence everywhere you go.

Use Your Manners

When you introduce yourself, say please and thank you and just use your good manners in general, it inspires confidence. Nothing makes others feel more confident in your behaviors and your abilities than your understanding and use of basic manners. Unfortunately, so many people forget to use theirs that it’s become something that impresses other people rather than something people naturally expect from others. However, it does inspire confidence so work your etiquette and make your grandmother proud.

Be a Good Listener

Nothing is less confidence-inspiring than someone who never listens. Instead they spend time pretending to listen while figuring out what they’ll say next. If you can really make an effort to listen to others and show genuine interest in what they have to say, you’ll inspire confidence. Again, much like the whole manners thing, too few people actually listen, which is not a confidence booster.

Be Confident

When you are confident in yourself, other people will be confident in you. This includes everyone from your husband to your kids to your friends to your boss. When you are confident in the office, your boss is confident you can handle anything. This might mean a promotion, bigger responsibilities and a more impressive title at work. Confidence in every area of your life is highly attractive and exceptionally necessary.
