She’s created a long list of famous clients whose gorgeous weddings she is behind. For that reason, who knows better than Weiss which three trends are the biggest and the best wedding trends of the moment? Read on to find out what she says are some of the biggest wedding trends on the market.

Royal Gowns

When Kate Middleton exchanged vows with Prince William in 2011, the world watched with anticipation as the soon-to-be Duchess entered her waiting car wearing a gown designed by Sarah Burton, the creative director and fashion genius for Alexander McQueen. Now, more brides than ever are ditching their dreams of a sweetheart neckline and strapless wedding dress in favor of something more classic and feminine in an effort to imitate the Duchess’ royal gown.

Chandeliers

Nothing is more popular right now than chandeliers. When Weiss planned Hilary Duff’s wedding in 2012, she used approximately 55 of them for her reception. They hung over the dance floor, over tables and anywhere else they could go in the Disney star’s lovely wedding reception. Couples today are using them inside and outside to create a lovely glow and an elegant feel.

Indoor Furniture Outside

Whether it’s for an outdoor cocktail hour or reception, more couples than ever are moving furniture that belongs indoors outside for a little elegance. The comfortable seating provides a chic elegance befit of any wedding reception. Some couples choose to do this only for their cocktail hour, moving furniture onto patios and into gardens, while some are using tents set up to create an indoor wonderland in the middle of the great outdoors for their receptions. Event organizers may hire event rentals that will suit the theme of their events.
