Celebrity Couples who Married on Valentine’s Day

What could be more romantic than getting married on the most amorous day of the year? These celebrity couples decided to call Valentine’s Day their anniversary day and the day they vowed to stay together forever.

Salma Hayek and Fancois-Henri Pinault

Up until she met her hubby, French businessman Francois-Henri Pinault, the sultry Latina actress apparently wasn’t convinced marriage was for her. “I didn’t think marriage worked,” Salma Hayek confessed to OK Magazine. “I thought everybody who was married was secretly miserable; that it was something they just put up with for their children.” After meeting Pinault, her mind was changed and the couple wed in a small civil ceremony in Paris on Valentine’s Day, 2009. The couple honored their anniversary by naming their daughter Valentina, born in 2007.

Meg Ryan and Dennis Quaid

One of Hollywood’s favorite 1990’s celeb couples, Meg Ryan and Dennis Quaid made it official when they married on Feb. 14, 1991. Their marriage lasted 10 years before it imploded with rumors of infidelity involving Ryan and Russell Crowe.

Sharon Stone and Phil Bronstein

Sharon Stone married Phil Bronstein at her Beverly Hills mansion on Valentine’s Day, 1998. She wore a pale pink gown by Vera Wang, with Wang’s daughters serving as the ceremony’s flower girls. This was Stone’s second marriage and fourth engagement. Fourth times the charm!

Adriana Lima and Marko Jaric

Victoria’s Secret Angel and superstunner Adriana Lima eloped with her basketball beau Marko Jaric on Valentines Day in Jackson Hole, WY. “We are so excited about our future together,” she told People Magazine as a new bride. “And we are really looking forward to a big romantic wedding this summer with all of our friends and family.” The couple also has a daughter named Valentina!

Keri Russell and Shane Deary

In 2007, Keri Russell and then-boyfriend Shane Deary found out she was pregnant and they felt strongly about being married prior to the baby’s arrival. The couple organized a small ceremony at The Harrison Restaurant in New York City, surrounded by close family and friends. “It was kind of a last-minute thing,” she admitted to TV Guide. “It really was just, ‘Oh, when is this private room in the restaurant available? Valentines Day? Oh, is that too cheesy? OK, well, let’s do it anyway.'” The couple son’s River was born later that year and they also have a daughter, Willa, now 2.
