In the last decade or so, paparazzi have become ruthless to many celebrities all over the world, often invading their privacy, border-lining illegal actions. A lot of celebs in Hollywood have moved from being singles to new mothers, including Veronica Mars herself, Kristen Bell.
Kristen and funny man Dax Sherpard, since having their baby this past year, have been waging a war against paparazzi photos – specifically paparazzi pics that involve the little children. It seems that their actions haven’t gone unnoticed – as fellow mom-activists Jennifer Garner and Halle Berry can attest. Luckily the bubbly couple have been able to get the ball rolling, having big interviews and outlets to get their pledges on not using photos of children for the sake of their privacy.
It’s an honorable cause… but is it realistic? The two seem to think so! Kristen and Dax are so strong-willed for this organization that they appeared on Access Hollywood to have an open forum of the sorts. Their conversation was pretty intense as the other party defended paparazzi shots of otherwise normal children. (The party consisted of Steve Ginsburg, the owner of a paparazzi photo agency and Christian Zimmerman, a celebrity reporter.)
“Our child hasn’t chosen to be a public figure, so why should our child have to suffer because of a career path we’ve chosen?” Shepard said.
Ginsburg replies by saying, “It is our constitutional right to take the picture!”
Needless to say the paparazzi aren’t taking too kindly to the idea.
