When and When Not to Wear a Flower Crown

Flower crowns are adorable, but they’re not always appropriate. They’re often something that people associate with certain ages, events and social gatherings, and that means that wearing one to dinner to meet his parents probably isn’t anything you want to bother with. However, there is no reason you can’t rock a flower crown at any given moment if you so choose. We are not trying to tell you how to dress or how not to dress. We are simply telling you that there is a time and a place for everything, and that we can offer you some words of wisdom and some advice as to when it’s appropriate and when it’s not to don a flower crown. If you need a little advice and some insight into the matter, please feel free to go ahead and take our advice. It’s not expert advice, but it’s pretty good advice.

When a Child Gives it to You

If a child gives you a crown made of flowers, put it on your head and wear it with pride. I don’t care if you are a man, a woman or another child. Kids give their gifts for a reason and they only give them to those they deem worthy of said gifts. Don’t make us tell you twice.

In a Wedding

There are many instances in which a bride might ask that you don a flower crown at her wedding if you’re part of the party. Do it. It’s her day.

On a Picnic

It’s a beautiful day for a picnic, and you want to wear a flower crown. There is no shame in that. Go ahead and wear the crown out on your picnic. Your kids will love and appreciate it, and so will anyone else that sees you out and about enjoying nature.

To Work

Do not wear a flower crown to work. This is just about the only place we will tell you not to wear this, and it’s because it’s not always office appropriate. If you’re a teacher, however, feel free to wear one as often as possible.
