Rita Ora Continues to be the New Face of DKNY

Gabrielle's Gala - Red Carpet Arrivals

Designer Donna Karan must be a fan of British pop singer-turned-model Rita Ora. Ora walked the runway at the DKNY’s spring show (see below), performed live at the brand’s 25th anniversary party, AND starred in a bunch of DKNY Jeans ads for the resort 2014 collection last year. Now that’s what they call a trifecta.

DKNY is pulling out the big guns when it comes to promotion of the upcoming scent. In addition to a print campaign, (shot in the heart of Times Square), there will also be commercials starring the “How We Do” singer as well as a digital-only campaign launching on Aug. 19.

But DKNY’s love affair with the stylish singer continues. Ora has become the new face of the label’s latest fragrance, the upcoming DKNY My NY scent. The first images of the campaign were just released in WWD.

The perfume has notes 0f raspberries, galbanum and pink pepper and is priced between $48 to $88.  My NY will be sold in 2,885 stores throughout the U.S in an cute but sleek, heart-shaped bottle.

Not in need of another perfume? The scent will also be available as lotion and body wash.

Another reason DKNY has been in the news this week? The brand has also enrolled the 17-year old son of Jude Law and Sadie FrostRafferty Law, to model for them. Rafferty walked in DKNY’s menswear show in London on Sunday, June 15, donning a baseball-style jersey, black slacks, and leather sneaks.
