Let’s Face It: Kids are Really Bad at Hiding and We Have the Photos to Prove It

Don’t you just love it when your kid tells you where to hide and how to hide in the house? My son’s version of hide and go seek is him telling me to sit on the couch with my hands over my face. He then proceeds to count to 3, yes 3 before he comes rushing to find me. And yet, without fail he’ll laugh every single time I say “boo!,” or “you found me!” And then when it’s his turn to hide? Look I don’t care if he’s not even three yet. He’s a terrible hider!

Louis C.K. did a bit on this a while back and you just have to laugh at how bad kids are at hiding. I mean seriously. Is standing in the middle of the room covering your body with your hands and calling out “I’m hiding!” a legitimate spot? Nevertheless it’s fun playing games with your kids, even though their hiding skills leave a lot left to be desired. Here’s a gallery of kids hiding in the most ridiculously easy places because they just don’t know any better.
