Preparing For Home Depot Black Friday 2014

Home Depot might not seem like the kind of store in which you make stops on Black Friday, which is only two months away, but it is the kind of store in which you go when you want to buy gifts for the men in your life – or just to save on things you need around the house. This year, don’t let Black Friday overwhelm you. Do what you need to do to save long before the big day arrives by using these tips and tricks.

“Like” Home Depot on Facebook

In an age when newspapers are all but extinct, it’s far easier to get online to look for deals on Black Friday at Home Depot than it is to hunt down a paper. All you have to do to see all the deals and steals at your favorite home improvement store is “like” the company on Facebook. The deals and promotions will appear right on your newsfeed so you won’t miss anything.

Follow @homedepotdeals on Twitter

If you’re on Twitter (who isn’t?) all you have to do is follow @homedepotdeals to find all the latest and greatest sales information and coupons. You will get special information not available to the general public, and you will receive updates when sales change, are added or are going on at the moment. This one helps all year – not just on Black Friday.

Prepare Yourself

Get in the shopping mood before Black Friday. You’ll need to prep by packing a back you can carry easily that’s not too heavy, but that has everything you’ll need. You’ll want your phone, maybe a book to read when you’re in line, a bottle of water and some snacks. It’s a great way to keep yourself occupied when you’re in line this early in the morning and when you are waiting to checkout this early.
