Stop Overlooking These Men

You know which friend I’m talking about; the one who always complains about never being able to meet a good guy, even though everyone else can see that her best friend is totally in love with her, and the nicest guy ever, to boot. Many women just don’t realize that they’re looking for love in all the wrong places, and they’re completely ignoring the good guys that are practically right under their noses. If you don’t know that woman, you probably are that woman, which means it’s time for you to start looking where you’d least expect.

The Nice Guy

So he’s not the most exciting guy on earth, but here’s a news flash: Two years from now when the newness and excitement wears off, what’s left of Mr. Hot and Exciting? That’s right, the nice and the comfortable. If he’s not nice and comfortable, he’s not going to be someone you want to be with when the excitement wears off, so stop looking past Mr. Nice Guy’s niceness and start looking at all his other amazing qualities.

The Good Friend

You laugh…a lot. You have a great time, every time. He’s the first person you call when you want to do something fun with someone fun. He’s seen you without make-up and he knows what you look like when you are in your worst mood. He knows you like a partner, but he’s just a friend. You love him, he loves you, and you have an amazing time together; how is that not a relationship?

Mr. Not the Nicest Car on the Block

In a world where most people are up to their ears in debt, but driving the newest, most luxurious cars on the market, you might not look twice at the guy with the 10-year-old ride. However, he’s probably the one who has the extra cash to buy you sweet gifts, such as your favorite dessert or send you flowers to tell you how much he cares. He’s probably the responsible one who can afford to buy a house with you and have kids with you. Take a second look at him, ladies. He’s the real catch.
