How to Post a Youtube Video on Facebook

Facebook is one of the biggest social media platforms in the world, and it’s one of the places many users go to post their YouTube videos. Facebook users love to share hilarious, touching and crazy videos with their friends and followers, and it seems like it’s something everyone is capable of doing. You might be surprised, however, just how many people have no idea how to post a YouTube video to their Facebook wall. Here are simple instructions to help you get started.

Start by finding the video you want to share online. Go to YouTube and click on the video you intend to share with your friends and followers. If you aren’t sure how to find the video, try Googling it or tying the name or category of the video into the YouTube search bar. Scroll through the options and choose from the list the one you prefer.

Now that you have chosen a video to share, you have a few different options. The first way to share your video is simple as long as you are on a device that is connected to Facebook. Click on the “F” icon (you’ll recognize the Facebook icon) where it appears. If you are not logged in, you will be prompted to do so. You will then get to choose how you want to post it (i.e. – to a friend’s wall, to your wall…). If you choose to post the video on the wall of a friend, you will be asked to type in that friend’s name and an optional message. If you choose to post it to your wall, you can also add an optional message to the video. Click share and you will see the video posted to Facebook.

Your other option is the right click on the video and select “copy video URL,” and then go to your Facebook page and paste it to your status bar. Do this and hit “share” and the video will appear on your wall.
