Traits Men Find Unattractive in Women

Football season is my favorite time of year. It’s fall, I can watch my Gators play, and I get to spend time on the weekends with not only my husband and our girls, but our best friends. This is also the time of year when I get to hear the most fascinating conversations – during halftime, of course. I learn so much from the men in my life during halftime, because they certainly have a lot to say. Last weekend, I learned all about what men find unattractive in women as all the husbands discussed why they are happy with their wives and glad they don’t have to suffer through dating. Ladies, listen up; this is directly from the mouths of men.

Drinking Too Much

Men do not find it attractive when women start talking in cursive, stumbling, mumbling, and throwing up. There’s such thing as too much drinking, and believe me when I tell you that no one finds it attractive.

Too Much Makeup

Simple is better ladies. This is something I’ve learned from my husband over time. I’m notorious for wrap dresses and six inch heels, and I make it my business to look as good as possible every day. However, when I put on minimal makeup, a pair of jeans, and a simple tee shirt, my husband can’t get enough of me. Keep it simple ladies, it’s much more attractive.

Belittling Them

Men don’t need a second mother. Ladies, if you feel the need to correct him, make him look stupid, and belittle him all the time, he’s not going to stick around. Sure, he doesn’t know the difference between your and you’re, but don’t make it a habit to tell him about that in front of his colleagues and friends.

Foul Language

There’s nothing wrong with a bad word here and there, but using vulgar language on a regular basis is not attractive. Believe it or not, most men prefer women who are classy, elegant, and ladylike.
