Napa

Napa Valley

Many people might consider this a place that is super expensive to visit, but it’s not if you time it correctly. My husband and I are huge fans of going in March, because the weather is just right, the prices are also just right and everything is bright and beautiful. When in Napa, you can choose from high-end hotels to B&Bs to quaint little boutique hotels. You get to drink wine, see vineyards and visit nearby San Francisco anytime you want.

We love to visit the Redwoods, to enjoy a beautiful dinner at little place called Tra Vigne – get the chef’s fresh mozzarella – and just wander around downtown Napa. We love the wine train, day trips to Sonoma and brunch at the breathtaking Auberge du Soleil. Ask to be seated outside and enjoy the view as long as possible.

If you’re looking for a winery or two, let us recommend the Sterling Vineyards. You have to park and take an aerial tram to the vineyards, which provide you the most amazing and most breathtaking views of the valley you might every imagine. This is the place to go for romance and love; and we promise you it’s one of the most romantic honeymoon destinations in the U.S. no matter what others tell you.

North Carolina is one of the most beautiful, most charming and most amazing cities in the country. What we love most about it here is that it’s not as busy as other areas along the coast, but it is still far enough south that it’s filled with that famous southern hospitality that everyone loves so much. This is the place to go if you want to experience romance and something few other places have to offer. A great place that’s just shy of the Outer Banks along the coast is the Atlantic Beach area. We love the charming little town that is Beaufort, with its historic downtown filled with quaint, charming shops and restaurants that offer amazing views of the water – including bird’s eye views of an island just off the coast filled with roaming horses. Try Amos Mosquitoes for a meal you will never forget, and then head down to the docks to enjoy a fabulous little wine bar on the water with live music and everything you’ve ever wanted to help make your trip more romantic and more amazing.
