Summer is almost over and many of you are planning your last minute summer getaways. If you are traveling with your man, there are a few things you should know beforehand. The problem is, his idea of a great vacation with you might be different than your idea than a great vacation with him. Sure, you love to spend the day lying by the pool and reading your book, maybe shopping a little, and taking in a show, but he may not be feeling all that. Find out what he really wants and offer up a little give and take this summer.

Sure, the pool is gorgeous and the view is amazing. He’d never turn down a chance to hang out with you in your bikini. However, he wants a little more. At some point, he’d love it if you suggested renting some jet skis and heading out on the water. Maybe taking a hike through the mountains, or going on an adventurous expedition. Try it; you only have to do it once.
Spend Some Time Alone
I know it’s a vacation you’re on together, but sometimes you want different things. If you don’t like to golf, suggest he gets a round in while you lie by the pool with the new book you downloaded. He’ll be appreciative of the time alone to do something he loves while knowing that you’re doing something you love at the same time.
Go to the Spa
This one is surprising, yet not really. Men love to go to the spa, especially if it’s for a massage. He has no problem lying on a bed with you next to him, knowing his kinks are about to get worked out. Getting all slicked up with massage lotion doesn’t hurt either. He may suggest you spend the rest of the day in your room.
