Your wedding day is slated to be one of the most important days of your life (whether or good reason or bad is entirely up to your own personal decisions!) which is why you should know as much as you can about the big day. Don’t Tell Vendors It’s Your Wedding Day

When booking vendors, be vague about throwing a party and see what prices you’re given. Many (not all) vendors tend to raise prices significantly when they find out your event is a wedding because they know you’re willing to pay more. You might just save yourself a bundle if you keep that little detail to yourself.

Go For Brand Names

Sure, buying your wedding set from Tiffany and Co is going to cost you a lot more than buying it at the mall, but it’s going to hold its value a lot longer. Not to mention, it’s just that much more fabulous.

Make it a Family Affair

At the end of the day, it’s your marriage that counts; not the wedding. What you’re going to remember is joining your lives and celebrating your first day as a family. For that reason, you need to include the family. When you look back on your wedding day you will remember your brother’s speech and your sister-in-law’s reading at the ceremony. It’s a family thing; so make sure you include yours. You won’t regret it.
