There has never been a time in which part time jobs have been so popular. With so many people looking to work from home, so many people making the decision to be with their kids as often as possible and in the office a little less, part time work is more popular than ever. The only issue with this is that so many people have to give up their benefits in order to receive part-time work. Fortunately, this is not true of all part time employers. Those fortunate enough to work in certain industries are able to work part time and still be with their kids all while maintaining great health benefits. If you’re looking to make the change to part time work, perhaps you should consider one of these careers that will enable you to still have the benefits you need and the time you want. Read on to find out which part time careers offer health benefits to their employees.

Starbucks

Those who work at least 20 hours a week at the popular coffee shop have access to some really great health care plans. These include things like 100% coverage for preventative doctor visits every year. Additionally, part time employees are given the option of contributing to more advanced health care plans.

Lowes

If you work part time for Lowes, you have access to health care benefits that cover the cost of preventative office visits each year. It’s not complete health insurance, but it’s something that you might want to look into if you are into the job part time and in need of some health care.

Costco

All it requires to be able to choose your own health care providers and plans here is a part time job that has you scheduled for at least 24 hours of work a week and 180 days of work a year. It’s also one of the highest-paying companies in the world, offering its employees wages well above minimum wage.
