That’s a lot of points for purchases that happen on a regular basis, and that’s a big deal to a lot of shoppers. What is even more amazing about this card, however, is that you might get a refund if you miss an event. Let’s say that you book tickets to see a concert and you cannot make it because your flight was delayed due to weather and you miss your connecting flight to the venue city. This card will off you’re a refund on your tickets for anything such as weather, venue cancellation, delays or even lost tickets. You can get this perk for up to $500 per ticket and up to $5000 per year.
You can also receive a $250 credit for airline fees, and access to the American Airlines Admirals Club free of charge. If you purchase any restaurant meals or entertainment, you will earn 2 points for every dollar you spend. For example, if you buy food, gas, a hotel or anything from a plane ticket to tolls or parking to get to the event, you earn 3 points for every dollar. VIP tickets are available for presale with this card, which means you’ll get access to them before anyone else, which is great if you love to experience your favorite musicians in the VIP setting. There is no foreign transaction fee for using this card, and you are able to transfer all points to Hilton and 11 airlines for both free nights and free flights.
Citi ThankYou Preferred

Finally, the greatest aspect of this card is the sign-up bonus, which is worth 20,000 points you can redeem for a number of very cool options when you spend only $1,500 in three months using the card. There is no annual fee to hold this card, either.
