Five Crucial Tips to Save Money on Your Wedding

wedding

Listen up all engaged couples and soon-to-be engaged couples; there is no right or wrong way to have a wedding. Did you know that? Were you aware of the fact that you don’t have to do things the same way as your sister or your best friend? You can go for some wedding ballrooms that meet your budget and can accommodate the wedding of your dreams.

You don’t need a million dollar budget. Your wedding is YOUR day, and it would do you well to remember this from this point forward. What you do on your day is up to you, and it’s a great way for you to save money planning your wedding. With that said, we don’t care if you have a $5 million budget or a $5,000 budget; we can help you save money on your wedding and make it a gorgeous, memorable and awesome night. You can thank us now or you can just mention us in the speech you give that night – either is fine.

Cut the Guest List

Don’t uninvite anyone you want at your wedding. But don’t sacrifice the kind of wedding you want to invite people your parents tell you that they want to invite (unless they are paying for those people). It’ll save you a lot of money.

List your Priorities

Believe it or not, you can save a lot of money by listing what’s important to you about your wedding and making sure those things are on the list. Anything not that important can either be removed from your big day or found for less.

Consider a Buffet

There is no rule that your wedding has to be a sit down dinner with 5 courses. In fact, sometimes a buffet is easier and more enjoyable. It’s better, it’s faster and it’s something that saves a bundle that people might enjoy a lot more.

Forgo the Favors

You do not need to give people things that cost you money that they’re just going to throw away in the long run. No one likes wedding favors and no one really cares all that much to have to drag something home with them that they’ll have to take out of the junk drawer in a few months.

Elope

There; we said it. Do it. You can invite people if you want, but tell them that you’re heading to this amazing place, getting married and if they want to be there, they can pay for their own trip and enjoy it that way.
