25 Tallest Players in MLB History

Major League Baseball isn’t the sport in which you need to be the tallest man on the field. Some of the greatest players in the game have been scrappy players under six feet tall that can rip any pitch to the opposite field, run like a gazelle, and have a cannon for arm in the outfield. While it doesn’t really seem to make much of a difference what your height is on the baseball diamond, it does have it’s advantages. The taller a pitcher is, the more they are able to turn the tables in their favor. Their height not only shortens the distances that the ball travels from their release point to the plate, but it also changes the angle from which the batters sees their pitches coming in.
