Some people make the mistake of thinking that you have to be short, small, and light to be a good NASCAR driver, but that’s not necessarily the case. The simple truth is that while being all of the above as a jockey is the general rule, the same is not true of racecar drivers. Sure, you want less weight and more room in the small cars to maneuver, but there doesn’t seem to be a correlation between being a small driver and being a better driver. As you can see, some of NASCAR’s best drivers are men who are quite tall. And while they might not be ready for an NBA draft or capable of being an NFL linebacker, some of these men are taller than you might imagine.
