Nicknamed “The Big Hurt”, Frank Thomas Jr. was a first baseman and designated hitter for the Chicago White Sox (1990-2005), the Oakland Athletics (2006 and 2008), and the Toronto Blue Jays (2007-2008).

Thomas was a five-time Major League All-Star, two-time American League Most Valuable Player, four-time Silver Slugger Award recipient, and ended his career with 2,468 hits and 521 home runs. He remains the only player in major league baseball history to play seven consecutive seasons with at least .300 batting average, 20 home runs, 100 walks, 100 runs scored, and 100 RBI.
