The Top 20 Home Run Hitters in Baseball History

Detroit Tigers v Anaheim Angels

The majority of Willie Lee McCovey’s 22-year professional baseball career was spent with the San Francisco Giants, though he also played for the San Diego Padres and Oakland Athletics during that time.

McCovey, who also goes by the nicknames of “Stretch”, “Mac”, and “Willie Mac”, was a six-time All-Star, was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame during his first year of eligibility, and a three-time home run champion. The left-handed hitter is on Major League Baseball’s all-time home run list in seventh place with 521 homers, the most of any player at San Fran’s Candlestick Park.
