Manny Ramirez marks the first on this list whose name would otherwise come with an asterisk—the first of a handful of players who didn’t always play the game fairly. That said, the former outfielder played for the Boston Red Sox, the Cleveland Indians, the Los Angeles Dodgers, the Tampa Bay Rays, and the Chicago White Sox over 19 seasons.

At the end of his Major League career, Ramirez, a nine-time Silver Slugger recipient, had hit 555 home runs—21 of those were grand slams (third of all time) and 29 of those were in the postseason (the most in baseball history).
