13 – SAMMY SOSA
Regardless of any alleged performance enhancing drug use, Sammy Sosa is still one of only six players in Major League history to hit over 600 career home runs (609, to be exact). During his career he played for the Texas Rangers, the Chicago White Sox, the Baltimore Orioles, and famously for the Chicago Cubs during his stand out 1998 season.
Sosa is best remembered for his home-run battle with Mark McGwire to reach the previous home run record set by Roger Maris. Today, Sosa is still the only player to have hit over 60 home runs each season for three consecutive seasons.
