The rich and famous like to vacation (and who doesn’t?) in the most exotic destinations in the world. While you and I call it a day by booking a cruise to the Bahamas, spending a long weekend in Jamaica, or celebrating our birthdays in Hawaii, celebrities tend to choose more exotic locations. Of course they go to the same places we visit, but those tend to be the places they go to purchase second homes and spend relaxing trips. It’s not where they do their really exotic vacationing. South Africa

Cape Town isn’t just for the locals, especially since it’s become one of Oprah Winfrey’s favorite places to travel. The One and Only Cape Town is where you’ll find celebrities relaxing and staying while they’re in this gorgeous Oceanside city. Oprah is just one of the many who like to make the trek to this far off destination for a bit of R&R.

St. Tropez

Beyonce and Jay-Z, Katie Holmes and Suri and even Diddy (formerly known as Puff Daddy – and Puffy, and Puff, and P. Diddy, sometimes Sean Puffy Combs) love to flock to this exotic French location to play in the surf and sun. It’s called the playground of the rich and famous for a reason.

Bora Bora

Dubai
